What happened to the Active Photo feature It has disappeared after obe month Was very amused by it Suddenly the icon to see results is gone The icon to review the result does not appear over the affected foto No motion After trying everything but a factory reset am wondering if live focus Active Photo must be paid for and is not free                 Barbara M. Sound quality during video capture is absolutely hideous in Moto G7 plus customer support simply doesn t respond to the issue and Motorola moderators in forums went completely silent I always gave preference for Motorola products but this one issue really let me down specially bc Motorola won t even acknowledge the issue         Nicolas daniel laskosky mota

Great pictures unless you want to include people in your shots Not sure what happened but suddenly all the pictures are clear except people are blurry It appears to be blending two images together poorly         Matt H.

I expect a camera to be reliable especially during temporary moments This camera is riddled with bugs freezes during interaction and crashes This camera app also has too many features particularly POST processing effects that should be integrated into a seperate app Let the camera be the camera and I m sure the bugs would be easier to pick out     mason1920

Loved this until the last update Now when I open the app everything is upside down When I m holding my phone up right everything I take a picture of is upside down     Tara Hollingsworth

Photos are constantly disappearing soon after being taken by this app but none of my other cam apps have this issue They show up in the gallery right afterward but 5 30 minutes later mostbof them will have disappeared It also doesn t focus anything like the other apps do but i can point it at random things with movements that should blur everything out and get the only beautiful shots this silly app will do reliably     Black Hole's Son

Decent camera app but the gcam app is far superior than this better HDR mode better potrait shots better dynamic range night shot ill say this is better for video recording In good lighting you get some pretty good shots and in night you get some good shots The processing is a lot faster than the gcam app though It would be nice if you added a night shot mode for the g7 plus             imran khan

There are some issues after the most recent update I m able to take photos but when I try to open the photo in the Camera app itself it comes all blurried and hazy and after some time I get the notification that Camera has stopped     Dhrubajyoti Ghosh

The camera works fine and the features are neat but the fact that it won t record using an external microphone makes it totally useless for vloggers or streamers in order to use my external microphone I had to download an external camera app which lacks many of the features the Moto camera does     Ulises Morales

Overall a decent camera app I just wanna know why there s no option for a longer shutter time such as 10 seconds or 32 seconds for my Moto X4 Other phones with the same Samsung s5kl27 sensor provide this option Please fix this in a future update         Mohammed Yusuf

A smartphone camera in late 2019 without a macro ability And what is there is scarcely functional The one star is because there is no 0 option It turns on then proceeds to blunder around till the subject matter has left the building Can t get a focus on anything moving at all then when it quits moving it takes another 20 seconds to come into focus By that time the grandkid or butterfly is across the county Shame on Motorola this mess should have been rectified long ago I m done     S McKay

This app is garbage I have had this phone over a year when i first got it The camera worked fine then a week later it says front camera not responding so i thought i messed it up but i have just found out by using another camera app that the Camera works perfect just not on this app the default camera app for the phone If your front camera doesn t work try another app because most likely its this app     Cameron McClure

After my Z3 Play upgrade to Pie portrait mode is unusable I experience a 5 7 second delay from the time I press the shutter button and when the image is actually taken By that point the shot is gone and the results are blurry ugly images This worked perfectly until my upgrade to Pie I understand that my phone camera should never be as good as my DSLR camera but before the upgrade it definitely worked in a pinch Now it is totally useless As a prolific blogger instagram photographer I can no longer advocate this camera software for others     Mique Walcutt

Will not focus u0026 seems stuck on extreme macro mode Was never a good camera but is almost unusable now Moto support was zero help Seems to be a software issue but havent found much info about how to correct it just 100s of reports w same issue It only affects the rear camera u0026the focus works perfectly when in blacku0026white mode As the camera app first opens it is in focus but immediately goes out Please fix It is not a hardware issue u0026 seems to be a problem on this specific device model     Courtney Cox

Motorola you seriously need to work on your camera app I saw today dxomark s score on Moto G7 Plus it could score upto 80 very poor performance in camera dept you really gotta do something about it camera these days is a crucial stuff in a phone your piece of hardware used for camera is so great but not the post processing and other stuffs such as clipping ghost artefacts focus in low light as a huge fan of Motorola I m conveying this to you for goodness please do something         Devender Dhiman

the default noise reduction is REALLY aggressive and needs to be toned down along with picking lower ISO setttings Taking an image with a single light in my room it picked 4000iso 1 15 when 2000 1 12 would do fine with lower noise and similar speed when shutter is under 1 80 most people can t hold it still enough so just use the lower more sensible ISO The HDR mode could use some work but it s quick and the RAW shooting is OK with images more grey than usual RAW         Josh Scranton

Moto Z2 Force autofocus has been awful since July update I used to be able to take picture from 6 8 inches away but now it won t focus at all Uninstalling the updates helped so obviously it s a software problem not my phone hardware         Jessie S

for some reason they took out saving files at 720p to save space now it just called HD so i took off a star since the update you used to be able to go to 720p 1080p 4k etc now it just says hd it could be 720 or 1080p who knows it woukd be nuce if they let you pick 480p 720p and 1080p up to 4k if you want to save space                 Cube Cubical

This camera app for my Motorola is absolute trash I enjoy tracking my mountain hikes and when I open this app to take a quick picture i end up spending multiple minutes with its slow processing and freezing up in the end i get a blurry picture all other apps crashed in the background forcing me to reopen them and reconfigure ny tracking Its unreliable and because of it i will never get a moto phone again Snapchat takes better pictures than this phone app Avoid Motorola at all cost     Adam Szczechowicz

Moto X 4 camera is absolutely garbage It does not focus on what you re trying to shoot in any lighting conditions It can not take any close up or macro photos at all This phone camera is an absolute waste of money if your like taking pictures     Brad Carlson

New update brought great improvements in image quality especially in low light and portrait mode Being using a Google pixel camera apk and tried different camera apps to get better performance but the stock camera app on the moto one performs better than all of them Video quality is also fantastic only thing missing now is a dedicated night mode which would make the app a great all rounder                     Lincoln Hall
